When you’re the daughter of actress/singer Judy Garland and film director Vincente Minnelli, the only obvious choice is fame and stardom. Liza was successful in every medium of modern entertainment, with one Oscar Award, one Emmy Award, three Tony Awards, and one Grammy Award. Hollywood had a hold on her, and that included her personal life. Starting with her parents, her personal Hollywood connections also included her godparents Kay Thompson and Ira Gershwin, a short marriage to Jack Haley Jr., a close friendship with Freddie Mercury, and relationships with Desi Arnaz Jr., Peter Sellers, and Martin Scorsese. It all started in 1949 at the age of three, where she first appeared on screen in the Judy Garland/Van Johnson musical,  In the Good Old Summertime.
