One of the greatest acting professionals in the last 30 years. And maybe one of the most underrated as well. Goodman regularly plays supporting roles, many of them very minor. But the excellence and sincerity that he brings to every scene is powerful enough to impact the entire film. He has frequently worked with the Coen brothers in the films Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, The Hudsucker Proxy, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, and Inside Llewyn Davis. He has also found massive success in doing voice-over work for animated movies like We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story, The Emperor’s New Groove, Monsters Inc., The Jungle Book 2, The Princess and the Frog, and Monsters University. More recently, Goodman has appeared in critically acclaimed films like The Artist, Argo, Flight, and Trumbo. These roles are clearly a product of the industry’s respect for one of its greatest masters of the craft.
